Chelli is a Senior Art Director for Motion Design & Illustration at Canva, with 10 years of experience spanning advertising, film production, and animation, including credits in Filipino indie films and Disney TV.

 

Her practice blends research-driven art direction with hands-on craft, using trend research and visual analysis to shape illustration and motion systems. She has experience leading teams and managing freelance illustrators and animators, providing creative direction and feedback throughout production.

Outside of her core work, she loves using art to inject magic and whimsy into the everyday, drawing inspiration from fantasy and coming-of-age narratives. She's also often found joining game jams with her team Cowboy Cake (˵ •̀ ᴗ •́ ˵ )✧
